The days are getting shorter, summer’s coming to a close and its that time of year again where we turn our attention to our FA manuals and start thinking about the upcoming season. Welcome back..
First of all, on behalf of the Calgary Zone, I want to thank all of you for your hard work and support with our fundraising programs. It has been very successful in the past few years and your support has been critical in that success. As a result we are able to fund various programs and purchase new equipment to support you and your patrols. Again, thank you very much.
As with fundraising, the Calgary Zone also requires a number of active positions to be filled to ensure the Zone can function and support the patrols. Along with your operational patrol days, the Calgary Zone also needs patrollers to step up and help out in a role. There are many roles that need to be filled, some require a few hours, other require a little more commitment. We encourage you to do one extra job. All of our Zone Executives manage a portfolio of tasks that are vital for the functioning health of the Zone. This is a great and fulfilling way to broaden your patrol experience and establish relationships with patrollers from other patrols. Expect to see a list of opportunities from your Zone VPs. Or if you have any interest, please feel free to contact any one of us.

Thank you very much.
